In realms beyond the Light,
Past the blackest pit of Absolution,
The Dark Ones gather in madness,
And between Them, Darkness weaves.
No shade of sin can be so many hued,
As the Darkness of the Deep,
I make dark music under the Mindspawn moniker. I create music and sound related to the occult, cosmic horror, tarot, magick and music for film, television and roleplaying games. If you seek to see through the illusion, journey on paths less traveled or explore the shadows, mayhap you will find something here to serve as the soundtrack to your nightmares.
Interview with Casey Douglass
Casey Douglass, horror writer, reviewer, blogger, and general all-around good human, was kind enough to interview me for his blog.
From Casey: At the beginning of the year, I posted my review of Daemon, a dark ambient album from Mindspawn, a musician also known as Gene Williams. After reading the album description and some of Gene’s postings on his own website, I had more than a few questions that I was curious to get the answers to. Gene was kind enough to agree to an interview, the result of which you can see below. We talk about the role a persona plays in his creativity, the perils of working with tools that can be different each time you turn them on, and we get a glimpse of Gene’s general philosophy towards life. I hope that you find the interview as fascinating as I did. Read more on Casey's site here!
